Congratulations to the November 2025 Employee Recognition Award recipients!

Cynthia Brock, custodian, Summit View High School and CASEE campus
Cynthia's commitment to cleanliness and upkeep is unmatched, and her positive attitude sets the tone for others around her. She not only responds to needs; she anticipates them. Whether preparing for upcoming changes, staying ahead on repairs or jumping in immediately when support is needed, she is always one step ahead. Her reliability and proactive approach exemplify excellence. Furthermore, Cynthia's ability to maintain such a high standard of work across multiple buildings in the district speaks to her incredible work ethic and dedication. Even with only limited support, she ensures that every site is cared for with consistency and pride. When she is away, her absence is felt, because her presence brings a level of care and dependability that truly enhances the campus environment.

Jason Foster, video production teacher at Battle Ground and Prairie high schools
A well-respected teacher, Jason serves as a positive role model in the classroom—supporting, encouraging and inspiring students every day. Outside the classroom, his influence only continues to grow. He can be found broadcasting sporting events, running sound for drama and music productions, filming graduations and stepping in wherever his skills are needed. From the perspective of those who work alongside him, it often appears as though he is fulfilling multiple full-time roles at once, and yet he approaches each responsibility with enthusiasm, professionalism and genuine joy. His commitment to students, staff and families is felt throughout the district, and we are all better because of his contributions.

Tiffany Legg, licensed practical nurse, multiple schools
In Tiffany's work to support schools throughout the district, she demonstrates an extraordinary level of flexibility and adaptability, and she approaches each day with enthusiasm, positivity and a willingness to step in wherever she is needed. Whether she is comforting a primary school student or assisting a middle schooler with ongoing medical needs, she consistently ensures that every child receives attentive, high-quality care. Her work truly embodies our district’s mission of serving each and every student. Through her compassion, adaptability and unwavering commitment to student well-being, Tiffany has made a lasting impact on the health and success of our school communities.
